PRITS, OGP, Hacienda, and AAFAF defend Integra PR one month after launch
On August 11, 2026, Primera Hora reports that officials defended Integra PR, the ERP that centralizes budget and financial information. It is one month old. It brings together 63 agencies. At a roundtable Poincaré Díaz Peña (PRITS), Orlando Rivera Berríos (OGP), Ángel Pantoja Rodríguez (Hacienda), and Enrique Guzmán Matos (AAFAF) spoke. They called the rollout effective and admitted challenges. Rivera Berríos said experts rate it as one of the most complex ERPs of any nation. He denied that the system does not work.
Hacienda, via Ángel Pantoja Rodríguez, put more than 600 million dollars disbursed in invoices on the new system, 8,192 invoices processed, and some 13,000 registered, a number that varies day to day. PRITS handled 556 technology tickets since July 1; almost all resolved. It did not offer the figure for financial tickets. OGP: the system passed six phases, more than 20,000 test runs, and 12 weeks of acceptance with 353 employees from 29 agencies. Some 12,000 vendors did not have a current unique registry and were left out of the original conversion.
Other figures from the table: 8,000 employees must join in the first phase; 4,800 already trained; about 80,000 would be added later; 29,000 vendors were transferred; 8,500 activated and validated an account; 12,000 contracts or obligations tied to those 8,500. Virtual sessions for vendors: August 11 and 13, 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. More than 700 vendors trained. Ángel Pantoja Rodríguez said critical situations will normalize in coming weeks or months, within the year. He did not set a date.
On August 5, Metro Puerto Rico covered Resolution 2026-003: invoices blocked since June 23. On the 7th, El Nuevo Día headlined a failed debut. On the 17th, Caribbean Business covered the first phase in another note on this desk. This one of the 11th is the official defense. No winner is chosen between the backup and 600 million. Who said it, and when, is named.
Anyone looking for the financial-ticket count PRITS did not give has to go to the source. What Primera Hora left are the roundtable figures and the refusal to say the system does not work. This is not original reporting.
