The Junta certifies the revised Special Revenue Funds FY2026 budget

On June 10, 2026, the Junta de Supervisión Fiscal certifies the revised Special Revenue Funds budget for fiscal year 2026. The letter to Governor Jenniffer González Colón attaches a Unanimous Written Consent: the budget, it says, was developed jointly and reflects consensus between the Governor and the Junta, under section 202(f) of PROMESA. It takes effect June 10. Signing are Arthur J. González, Andrew G. Biggs, John E. Nixon, and Betty A. Rosa. Copy to Robert F. Mujica Jr., Francisco J. Domenech Fernández, Ángel Pantoja Rodríguez, and Orlando Rivera Berríos.

The WHEREAS recalls that on June 27, 2025 the Junta had certified the Special Revenue Funds FY2026 budget and that the Governor requested revisions for certain instrumentalities. After deliberating, the Junta determines, in its sole discretion, that the proposal is a compliant consensus budget. Exhibit 1 brings tables of payroll, PayGo, facilities, professional services, and other lines by entity. This note does not reproduce the whole book. One visible block sums 112,924,595 dollars in a DDEC economic-development program; it is a line of the exhibit, not the Government's consolidated total, which this letter does not put in a single billion-dollar row.

This certification is not the consolidated FY2027 budget nor the imposed FY2026 revision of June 29 and 30. Those have other URLs and other notes already on the desk. Junta bulletin number 4, on another page, speaks of a revised FY2026 certified as a Junta budget, not a joint one, over the municipal-roads plan. Here, for Special Revenue Funds, the text says consensus.

Nor is it mixed with the three laws Jenniffer González Colón signs the same June 10. One day, two acts: laws at La Fortaleza, SRF certification in a PDF. What remains is the date, the UWC, and immediate effect.

The reader who wants each instrumentality has the exhibit. This is not original reporting.
