Genera PR submits its answers to the Negociado on the FY2027 reconciliation
On June 9, 2026, Genera PR LLC files before the Negociado de Energía, docket NEPR-MI-2021-0004, its answers to the information requirements of the May 27 Resolution. The frame is the April 15 Rate Order in NEPR-AP-2023-0003, which ordered a joint plan — LUMA, Genera, and AEE — to use in fiscal year 2027 the FY2026 reconciliation amount. LUMA's May 20 motion distributed 98,641,949 dollars: 62 percent LUMA, 16 percent Genera, 3 percent AEE. The Negociado's ROI uses 98,747,153 as the FY2026 undercollection to be recovered from customers in FY2027.
The Negociado notes that Genera's share in the joint plan was 26,765,598 dollars, 27.11 percent, about 10.7 million above its 16.22 percent. That 16.22, on 98,747,153, yields 16,016,788. Genera, in the answer, accepts the methodology and cuts its request to those 16,016,788. It says eliminating GMR funding limits basic maintenance, pest control, waste, and LTSAs, including BESS warranties, and that without those funds there is operational risk.
Exhibit A lists resized line items, among them 5,248,186 dollars in auxiliary equipment at all plants. This note does not reproduce the whole table. Counsel on the record are Jorge Fernández-Reboredo and Ernesto Raúl Ramos Maldonado, of ECIJA SBGB. The motion is treated as compliance with the May 27 order; it is not the June 15 resolution on contingency accounts. That arrives in the same docket, another URL, and is covered separately.
The 98,641,949 and the 98,747,153 live together in the PDF: a later Negociado footnote says the Rate Order mentioned 98,641,949. The difference is not flattened. What remains is what Genera submitted on the 9th: the adjustment to 16,016,788.
The reader has the motion. This is not original reporting.
