Genera asks for FY2026 guidance; the Negociado sets 30 million of contingency for LUMA and for Genera

On June 9, 2026, Genera PR LLC files an urgent motion for clarification and protective treatment on the FY2026 budget-to-actual reconciliation and expenses incurred under the Negociado's provisional budget authority. The PDF that resolves it is the June 15 Resolution and Order in NEPR-MI-2021-0004: one URL, two dates. It is not split into two notes.

On June 15, the Negociado that Edison Avilés Deliz presides amends in part the FY2027 budget to create contingency accounts: 30.0 million for LUMA, 30.0 million for Genera, and 1.0 million for AEE, with reports. It authorizes draws for extraordinary events. It leaves 37,747,153 dollars of the FY2026 reconciliation amount unallocated, to be decided when Genera submits additional information. On the June 9 motion, the Negociado authorizes that supplement in ten days, for information only: it does not admit that the matter is ripe for adjudication nor that it agrees with Genera. It reserves all rights. It warns of fines under article 6.36 of Law 57-2014.

The underlying reconciliation is that of the Rate Order: about 98.6 million charged to customers for FY2027. On the 9th, in another motion in the same docket, Genera had already cut its request to 16,016,788. That is another URL. Here the fact is the urgent motion and the three contingency accounts. On June 18, El Nuevo Día covers the 30 million pot; that press coverage is not this PDF.

The 30, the 30, and the 1 are not used to declare that the Negociado returned the rest to customers. The rest remains unallocated on June 15. Whoever wants the text of the urgent motion or the reporting rules has this PDF.
