AAA: the Carraízo rationing pause is indefinite; it outlasts the 48-to-72-hour window

On Sept. 2, 2026, Metro reported that the rationing pause for Carraízo customers will remain indefinite, AAA’s Michelle Cobb confirmed. Indefinite outlasts the 48-to-72-hour window Governor Jenniffer González had set. This note is the update that leaves that window without effect while the reservoir keeps rising; it does not rewrite González Delgado without a restart date. Cobb said the utility is watching inflows and a weekend weather event. Carraízo returned to observation the previous afternoon after gaining more than a meter. Monitoring is not a restart. This desk invents no date for rationing to return.
