Pesquera leaves the AAA president in the governor's hands; Soto asks for resignations

On August 31, 2026, El Vocero reports, after the Drought Committee, that Carlos Pesquera said trust officials are «prestaditos»: whether they stay or go is for Governor Jenniffer González Colón to decide. Canóvanas mayor Lornna Soto said Monday on Noticentro al Amanecer, on WAPA, that Luis R. González Delgado and metro director José Rivera Ortiz «should resign». González Delgado, according to that page, will not resign. Rationing does not change. There are no new zones. Monday's committee did not add municipalities to the plan. Pesquera speaks of trust, not a meter count.

Pesquera does not name a reservoir count in that phrase. Soto speaks from Canóvanas, not from Fortaleza. This desk prints both voices. They are not fused. It does not turn «prestaditos» into a dismissal already signed. Soto asks that they go. González Delgado says he will not. Permanence, on that URL, remains in González Colón's hands. This desk does not get ahead of the decision.

What remains is some prestaditos, a resignation demand on WAPA, a named metro director, and a president who says he is not leaving. Rationing, on Monday, stays the same. There are no new zones on that page. A reader who wants Pesquera after the committee has the El Vocero URL at the foot. This is not original reporting.
