González Delgado rules out rationing at La Plata in the short term
On August 31, 2026, at 9:10 a.m., El Nuevo Día reports, by Keila López Alicea, that Luis R. González Delgado ruled out on WKAQ-580 programmed rationing at La Plata «in the short term». «We are not in that position.» The AAA, according to that page, has been making La Plata adjustments since May. La Plata lost 26 centimeters from Saturday to Monday. If it does not rain, he said, Carraízo's 48 hours could be lengthened. Carraízo control is 37.00 meters; the critical level, according to him, is 30. Adjustments are not automatic rationing. This note does not turn the short-term ruling-out into a plan already closed forever.
On Saturday, NotiCel covered those adjustments without a programmed cut: La Plata enters adjustments, not rationing. The same 31st, El Vocero covers another interview, on Telemundo, about extending periods at Carraízo: the AAA will evaluate extending rationing. Two dispatches from the same morning. WKAQ is not Telemundo. This note does not rewrite that one. There is here no September 1 hearing. None is invented.
What remains is a short-term no at La Plata, adjustments since May, 26 centimeters from Saturday to Monday, and a critical level of 30 meters. A reader who wants WKAQ-580 has the El Nuevo Día URL at the foot. This is not original reporting.
