The AAA places the Cidra reservoir at operational adjustments at 400.20 meters

On August 2, 2026, Telemundo Puerto Rico reports that the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority placed the Cidra reservoir at the operational-adjustments level. The daily report the outlet reproduces leaves a narrow figure: 400.20 meters in the last 24 hours. That page has no count of affected customers and no rationing calendar for Cidra. What remains is the threshold and the elevation.

The same text notes that Carraízo, in Trujillo Alto, had already moved to operational adjustments the previous Monday. Those are two reservoirs and two dates. Telemundo Puerto Rico does not average them or turn them into a single drought map. Cidra enters on Sunday; Carraízo was already there. A reader who wants full reservoir monitoring has the link the outlet itself puts on the page.

This note does not rewrite the drought emergency reserve El Nuevo Día covered on August 5, nor the seven-municipality rationing NotiCel announced on the 4th. Those are other dispatches, other days, and other public acts. Here the fact is the AAA report via Telemundo Puerto Rico: Cidra at 400.20 meters, at operational adjustments.

This elevation is also not used to verify the Drought Monitor or to preview a rationing this page does not announce. The outlet mentions fishermen alarmed by the levels, without catch figures or lost volume. That alarm belongs to the coverage, not a hydrologic census.

The AAA, according to Telemundo Puerto Rico, attributes the threshold crossing to a drop in stored volume. There is no sedimentation percentage here and no new bathymetry. On August 11, Prensa Sin Censura covered, at another URL, the Cidra demand to measure the bottom. That is another note. This one leaves the date, the meter reading, and the threshold the August 2 report put on screen.
