A group of bondholders rejects the offer to resolve PREPA's bankruptcy

On July 14, 2026, the Financial Oversight Board publishes a note titled "Group of bondholders rejects the offer to resolve PREPA's bankruptcy." On opening the URL, the HTML arrives wrapped in menus and Cloudflare; the body is not extracted reliably. What is in this desk's ledger, and is not expanded, is the fact of that release: a group of non-consenting Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority bondholders rejects the Board's offer, put at $3,000 million, and keeps a $12,000 million claim. There is no court here, no haircut percentage, and no fund name that that page did not leave in recoverable text.

That offer and that rejection are not the conditional green light for 11 solar farms of July 3 nor PREPA's lawsuit against New Fostress Energía LLC for $55 million that Sin Comillas covered on July 1. A bankruptcy plan, eleven solar contracts, and an LNG suit are three threads. It is also not mixed with WRDA 2026 that PRFAA announced on the same July 14, nor with the Board's rejection of the school IVU holiday, this desk's kernel of that date. Four URLs, four acts.

Laura Taylor Swain presides over the Title III docket; this note does not attribute to her a ruling that the Board's page did not put down. The reader who wants the statement has the juntasupervision.pr.gov URL at the foot.
