Jenniffer González Colón names María Marín Colón interim at COR3 and sends 12 appointments

On June 15, 2026, Governor Jenniffer González Colón designates María Marín Colón interim director of the Oficina Central de Recuperación, Reconstrucción y Resiliencia as of July 1. La Fortaleza presents her as a CPA with more than 20 years in accounting, government, insurance, and banking. COR3 deputy director since February 2025, she administered more than 30 billion dollars in federal Public Assistance and mitigation: validation before disbursement and projects with municipalities, agencies, and nonprofits. Since 2023, Chief Infrastructure and Operations Officer. Before, Oficina del Comisionado de Seguros, CDBG-DR finance at Vivienda, BDO, MassMutual, and banking.

The same release says that earlier she sent the Senate 12 appointments that require advice and consent. It names Carlos J. Ríos Pierluisi as secretary of the Departamento de Desarrollo Económico y Comercio — the page writes Carlos J. Ríos Pierluisi; the private-sector announcement of that same date uses Carlos J. Ríos Pierluisi, and that is this desk's form for the June designate. For superior-court judge: Elmer Luis Cuerda Cruz, Carlos Javier Capó Hernández, Ilsa I.
