The Junta approves 597,171 dollars of increase and reapportionment to DDEC
On June 10, 2026, Robert F. Mujica Jr. writes again to Orlando Rivera Berríos, this time about increases and reapportionments of June 5. He approves 199,000 dollars to the Autoridad de Tierras: emergency repairs, fleet, and a payment plan on a CRIM judgment. He approves 597,171 dollars to the Departamento de Desarrollo Económico y Comercio: transportation down 151,000 and materials 57,000; equipment up 151,000; creates 389,171 in undistributed appropriations for payment to PRITS for Microsoft and cloud support; and 57,000 for debts of prior periods.
The third item, 2026-60664, from the Corporación del Caño Martín Peña, asked to recognize funds, raise the budget, and extend through August 31, 2026 an award from the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña under the Basic Arts Grant Program. Determination: closed without a Junta ruling. On May 27 it had been returned to OGP asking, by June 2, evidence of receipt, a formalized contract with ICP, and the capacity to disburse within sixty days after the FY2026 close. That evidence did not arrive. The agency may resubmit in FY2027. The ledger had noted an Institute of Museum and Library Services award; the PDF names ICP. The PDF is copied.
The letter recalls that on May 29 the Junta released the 5.0 percent withheld from the certified FY2026 budget. OGP is instructing agencies; some extensions were approved with information prior to that unfreeze. Copy to Francisco J. Domenech Fernández, Ángel Pantoja Rodríguez, Helga I. Méndez Soto, Roberto Lefranc Fortuño, and Mario Núñez Mercado.
It is another PDF from Conservatory 12759, though both are dated the 10th. The DDEC of this letter is not the June 15 presentation of Carlos J. Ríos Pierluisi. What remains is the 597,171, the 199,000, and the Caño close without determination.
