Jenniffer González Colón signs OE-2026-028 and reinforces water distribution

The La Fortaleza release is dated June 7, 2026 and cites Executive Order 2026-028 that Governor Jenniffer González Colón signed the day before, the 6th, to activate the Puerto Rico National Guard in logistical, transportation, and potable-water distribution support. This note uses the 6th as the date: the act of the order. The URL is one. The operation and the signature are not split into two kernels.

After a Saturday meeting among agencies, AAA, the National Guard, and private industry, La Fortaleza announces additional resources. The Guard activates four tanker trucks of 2,000 gallons each for communities in Guaynabo and Bayamón. The Compañía de Turismo brings in 12,800-gallon trucks, with a separate fill point in Bayamón, especially for condominium cisterns and Isla Verde. The Departamento de Agricultura coordinates three milk trucks that the Departamento de Salud must inspect and certify for potable water. With that, the Government says it will add at least ten additional trucks to what AAA has already deployed, and it asks the Autoridad to move cisterns from other regions toward the north.

Jenniffer González Colón speaks of access to potable water while the system is recovered. The release does not put a count of customers without service or name the 72-inch pipe: that arrives on June 11, on another URL, with about 112,000 customers. On June 5, El Vocero sets the TPI hearing on San Juan's suit. On June 2, Robert F. Mujica Jr. had refused to cut AAA revenues. Three dates, three pieces. This is the operation and OE-2026-028.

The closing exhortation is to follow AAA channels for oases and distribution points. There is no map of those oases here. What remains is the order of the 6th, the four 2,000-gallon trucks, Turismo's, the three from the dairy industry, and the ten additional.
