The Junta gives the final yes to sign Power Expectations: 400 MW and 5,887 million

On June 2, 2026, the Junta de Supervisión Fiscal determines that the conditions of the May 8 approval were met and authorizes signing the temporary-generation contract between the Autoridad de Energía Eléctrica and the consortium Power Expectations LLC, Enchanted Rock LLC, and Reyes Contractor: 400 megawatts and about 5,887 million dollars. That is this day's public action. The URL slug speaks of canceling; the page, when opened, is an August account that still recites the June line: conditional approval on May 8, final determination on June 2, signature on June 10.

The Junta, according to that page, had flagged concerns over price and value, schedule, and Power Expectations' financial capacity, including the performance bond. Both May 8 and June 2 left in writing that the body could reevaluate if an inaccuracy or misrepresentation later appeared. On June 2, with those conditions treated as met, the yes to sign goes out. On June 10, the same account says the agreement is subscribed for ten years and 400 megawatts at Aguirre.
