González signs the 4 percent under Act 60; today they pay 0 — Mar 10, 2026

On March 10, 2026, Primera Hora reported Governor González Colón signed House Bill 505 amending Act 60-2019 to impose a 4 percent tax on net capital gains, interest, and dividends for future individual resident investors. Today they pay 0; the 4 percent starts for new decrees from 2027.
